Join us in celebrating the fifth annual Come Out and Play SF Festival! The two-day event will feature a score of newly designed real-world games making their public debut, along with perennial favorites like Journey to the End of the Night and Jericho – The Urban Spy Game.

This year we’ll be in the Civic Center neighborhood at Fulton Mall (between Larkin and Hyde, with the Asian Art Museum and SF Public Library to the north and south).

Friday night will be an evening of adult-only games, and Saturday afternoon will be an all-ages event. Get ready to meet new people, explore the neighborhood, and most importantly, have city-sized fun!

As always, the event is free and open to the public! (Though the festival is made possible thanks to the work of dedicated volunteers, so we really appreciate any donations to help cover our costs.)

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Nope. Though keep in mind the games on Friday are for adults. And while Saturday is for all ages, the kid-friendly games are appropriate for youngsters able to understand and follow basic gameplay instructions.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking is very limited in downtown San Francisco, so we highly recommend taking public transportation. That'll be really easy – it's right off Civic Center BART station, and there are a ton of MUNI lines within walking distance.

Is there anything I need to do in advance?

Yes, please read and sign the waiver on our website before arriving (link forthcoming). Less time at registration = more time playing!
