Join other interns that work at the San Francisco Impact Hub and give back to the neighborhood with Project Open Hand, a local non-profit dedicated to providing meals with love to seniors and the critically ill. We will get to know the neighborhood and the interns in our space as we prepare fresh and healthy meals for people who are too sick or frail to cook or shop for themselves Project Open Hand was rated 2013's Best Nonprofit in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Come see what their work is all about and get involved with other interns! Volunteering will include dinner, an educational orientation, and preparation of meal packages. This event is only open to interns who work at Impact Hub San Francisco or Impact Hub Berkeley. All volunteers must be 15 years or older and dress appropriately in close-toed shoes, shirts with sleeves (no tank tops) and full length pants (no shorts/capris/ skirts, etc.). Hats are also welcomed for volunteers who prefer not to wear hairnets. Volunteers will not be able to participate if they do not follow this dress code!
