VIDA Children is a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization focused on improving the lives, education and career potential of Oaxacan children in need.  VIDA has worked for 12 years as a small group of Bay Area activists bootstrapping a self-funded charity.  This year, the organization is excited to host our biggest fundraiser yet, broadening the network of San Francisco volunteers while also raising funds to build a dedicated facility to serve the children and community in Oaxaca. 

The Summer In The City event will be held on August 14th, 2014 at the SOMA StrEat Food Park. This outdoor oasis features a beer garden and a sampling of local, gourmet food trucks. The event will feature great food, drinks as well as a PREMIUM tequila tasting. We're truly looking forward to enjoying a beautiful summer night in the city with you.
