Eating vegetarian is healthy....everyone knows that, but how do you make it tasty and satisfying? This class focuses in on creating dishes that should surprise your tastebuds and expectations. First is a Spinach Ball appetizer that is perfect for entertaining as they can be pre-made then warmed when ready to serve. Mushrooms are perfect when you want a meat substitute so we'll make a Scallop substitute with Oyster Mushrooms on pasta. Meatballs are made with nuts and grains in this class and we've surprised many people when they find out they're vegetarian. Our hearty Italian Lentil Soup is a meal in a bowl.....all you need is a nice piece of sourdough to soak up the rich broth.
