Every collector of rare coins has his or her list of coins that they want for their collection. In most cases, these coins are going to be readily available, or at least possible to own with a bit of hunting. Of course, most collectors will also have a list of dream coins, items that they will probably never be able to find and if they do find them, they will probably not be able to afford them. It's good to dream though.

Compare the prices you find with the prices you’ve already researched for your coins. If the prices aren't close, then choose another dealer. A dealer who charges too little is even more suspect than a dealer who charges too much for the coins. Take your time when you are looking for a dealer, and make sure that the company has all, or at least most, of the coin types that you want.
