Maria Teresa is the founder of Green SHAMPOOCH in the heart of Sausalito, California.  She and her husband Peter have three French poodles, Perrita, Pepita & Chiquita, and often you will find many other dogs visiting them at their home.  She began Green SHAMPOOCH by merging her two passions of caring for animals and social movements.  Teresa believes that an Eco-friendly Dog Salon should embrace green principles and also be socially responsible.

At the spa at Shampooch we believe bathing and grooming are essential habits to maintain a healthy dog.  We use only natural Earthbath products which are gentle on dogs, cats and is great for the planet.  We offer a state-of-the-art grooming facility staffed by dedicated, professional pet stylists that focus on individualized attention each pet deserves.  We encourage ongoing consultations between groomer and owner to ensure positive experiences with each visit.  We groom one dog at a time to ensure your pet is properly cared for and pampered.

From shampoos to haircuts, flea treatments to styling, pedicures, skin care and shed management treatments, your pampered pet will go home looking great as well as feeling great!
