Sausalito has one very noteworthy sushi restaurant that has been listed among the top five favorite restaurants, within its division, on the famed Zagat, Northern California, San Francisco district restaurant lists. Sushi Ran is highly regarded by sushi connoisseurs and the curious patrons who enjoy the experience of tasting upper-quality sushi in Sausalito.

Perhaps not as famous but extemely tasty, is another local favorite Sweet Ginger.  The atmosphere here is a little less formal but the service just as friendly.
